Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer back in Phoenix; speculation on SB 1062 action escalates
Source: Arizona Republic
Gov. Jan Brewer returned to Arizona on Tuesday, five days into an escalating controversy over a so-called religious-freedom bill that has fixed national attention on the state.
Brewer has said that before taking action she wants time to meet with interested parties and review the bill, which would offer a legal shield for businesses that cite religious convictions as a reason to not serve or cooperate with certain customers.
Senate Bill 1062 has galvanized the gay community, which feels the bill is a direct assault on them.
The Republican governor has not tipped her hand about what action she will take or when. But close advisers, business officials, faith leaders, various community groups and several online petitions have urged her to veto the bill, and the calls have only increased as the days have passed.

Seems to me the longer she drags this out, the more likely she's going to piss off everyone no matter what she decides.

I think she's gathering her legal advice on whether she can run for a third term...

If she thinks she can run, she'll veto. She may actually veto regardless, but if she's going to challenge the state constitution and run for governor again, she's definitely going to veto this law. She'd be dead in the water if she did otherwise.

to get a 3rd term possibility going for herself.
She won't have the teabaggers.
