Teen Hotline Says Scammer Is Jamming Lines, Demanding Money

Source: CBS Minnesota WCCOTV

The Bridge for Youth organization said that cyber attackers seeking money shut down the center’s main phone number Tuesday morning.

The center said the attack began when someone called and demanded $525 from the organization.

When The Bridge for Youth refused, constant calls from all over the country started jamming up the main line.

Nakedsecurity.com reports that TDOS scammers are targeting emergency call centers in the U.S. and demanding money. The report said the FBI is aware.

They’re hoping someone will be able to help them out so they can use the old one again.

Someone laughing their butts off while no one can get help. I won't ask what is wrong with people today, we already know the answer to that.

Trolling is mainly done to shut down discussion or to be a jerk. When they get caught, they're probably going to jail. They'll probably stop laughing right about then.

The trail they leave behind is painted in red with arrows pointing to them and they will be found. Each call counts as one felony ... so they would spend thousands of years in jail. Serves them right for being evil and stupid at the same time.

How about we get some return on investment and shut down these assholes and the illegal telemarketers? I'm practically to the point of saying just go ahead and send a drone to strike telemarketing boiler rooms with hellfire missiles.

It wasn't just extortion, they had a network across the country to help them create that DOS. In some states such programs are so underfunded they've given up enforcing laws on domestic violence.

Rape hot lines and counseling are not being paid for and the battered women's shelters aren't able to stay open. In the meantime, GOP politicians tell women to stay with an abuser to keep from costing taxpayers. They use religion for it and talk about family values.

This is a guerilla regressive social strategy, not done for a paltry sum of $525 or laughs. Yes, they'll laugh, but it's because they revel at ending liberal programs and building their new society.

JMHO.

They should also imprison the "Card Services" scammers.
