By the autumn, it will be legal to sell seven flavours of Palcohol in the US, including Cosmopolitan, Mojito, and a so-called Powderita, which its creators say tastes just like a Margarita.

Lets talk about the elephant in the room
snorting Palcohol," the Palcohol website read according to The Verge.
"Yes, you can snort it. And youll get drunk almost instantly because the alcohol will be absorbed so quickly in your nose. Good idea? No. It will mess you up. Use Palcohol responsibly."

The change in campaign material comes during US Alcohol Awareness Month. 18 million Americans have an alcohol use disorder, according to the US Government's National Institute of Health.

(1,968 posts)But apparently an e-cig will kill you if you get a drop in your mouth, per Dr. Oz this evening. And the FDA is itching to drive us all back to the cigs.
I've flat out had it with the stupidity. Call me when the media and government aren't wholly owned and operated against my better interests.

I would never allow Dr. Oz in my compost bin, I'm afraid he'd poison the plants with his load of unadulterated woo.

Now, tell me how kids aren't going to be swarming to snorting alcohol that can't be smelled on their breath by mom and dad? Which is one of the arguments against edible pot.
This country is so weird about how they view things at times.

(10,039 posts)Those children not poisoned will witness an adult using his/her e-cig, pick up a carton of Camels and begin smoking straight away. Then all e-cig batteries will all ignite burn down every structure ever built.

Pretty sure snorting it wouldn't change that as the mechanism is the same.

Would be lighter than the traditional pint of Everclear.
Can you imagine if a bear got hold of it though. Always figured Mr. Bear would puncture and leak out most of the 'clear. A powder, on the other hand . . .
Can you imagine a pissed off and drunk grizzly . . .

Yeah right. of course they are.

It's true some people can't handle alcohol. But that shouldn't mean the rest of us are precluded from having a drink.
