A soldier from U.S. Army South in San Antonio was killed this week in an incident in Guatemala that left three other GIs injured.

The soldier wasn't identified, but he was assigned to the 56th Signal Battalion at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, the command said Wednesday.

He was killed Tuesday and the other soldiers were injured during an engineer project when a large tree branch fell on them.

The incident occurred during “Beyond the Horizons,” an exercise two hours outside Guatemala City.

There is some substantial loss of life where we don't even recognize anything going on!

This is a tree branch fell, killing one and injuring two? Yet to be determined why branch fell?

Is this all part of the drug war?
