US Sen. Cruz of Texas to visit Ukraine

Source: AP

AUSTIN (AP) — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas will visit Ukraine this month and meet with leaders of the protest movement that forced out the country’s pro-Russian president.

Frequently mentioned as a potential 2016 White House contender, Cruz also will visit other Eastern European countries and Israel on a trip that could be seen as an attempt to build his foreign policy credentials.

Dates and details of his other stops were not immediately released Tuesday by his office. Ukraine has a May 25 presidential election.

The trip is sponsored by Secure America Now, a conservative foreign policy group.

for him to go if he stays there, preferably in Chernobyl.

Whatever he does after that is none of my concern.

George Romney, senator from Michigan who was born in Mexico, was eligible because his parents were born here. (Apparently it only takes one.) Back then the GOP had honor and they convinced him to leave the race just to quell the controversy.

Cruz will get out of the race after enough "why isn't this an issue for you, it was for Obama and he was born in Hawaii" questions are asked.

Besides, they have Rand Paul - equally insane, definitely US born.
