Facebook mom ordered to keep quiet about kids online

Source: NY Daily News

BY DOYLE MURPHY

A wacko New Jersey mom is under judge’s orders to shut her cyber mouth.

A Garden State appellate court ruled the chronic oversharer can no longer post rants on Facebook or other sites about her ex-husband or children.

The woman — identified as H.L.M. in court papers — referenced serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, Satan and Hitler in “irrational, disturbing, bizarre statements” included in a series of online posts directed at her family, a judge said.

The woman, a former patent lawyer and electrical engineer diagnosed as bipolar, was apparently still upset after she was busted in 2011 for snatching her kids and fleeing for Canada following a custody battle. Authorities arrested her at the New York-Canadian border on kidnapping charges.

FULL story at link.

Nothing but trouble for her husband when she's off her meds. I was told last week that 'we don't like people coming over at the house. ' Went there to pay for some straw I'd bought from them. Thirty years old and nobody can come up to the house. What a picnic that must be.

I didn't think a judge could order someone not to libel...and Facebook isn't exactly like public news....could he order someone to stop sending personal letters, phone calls? Unless he charged her with stalking...

Attitudes (and more importantly realities) have changed so radically since then.

Sympathy, on so many levels, are probably the better response to all of this story.

Seriously? A "wacko New Jersey mom"? In the opening line? Interesting... if I were to compare the writer of this article to a steaming pile of dog shit in my opening line, could I write for Nydailynews too?

"Chronic oversharer" hehe. I mean, seriously, this is supposed to be journalism?

Does this "bi-polar chronically oversharing wacko" have the right to now sue this idiot journalist for libel? Will a judge order him to shut his cyber mouth? Cyber mouth? Seriously... who comes up with this shit?

Hell, maybe she is crazy, maybe she is bi-polar and chronically overshares - and says all kinds of crazy shit all the time. Regardless, this article is still shit.

in somewhat of an outlandish way didn't it? But isn't the article all about what is outlandish ?

The first line is also the bottom line and it's up to you the reader to make that connection.

Still though the shit's flying isn't it ? And isn't that the point ? Been going on for a few years hasn't it ?

So , where does it begin and where does it end ?

The shit I mean as in put a period end to it . LOL.
