Christie urges 'culture of life' approach at faith event

Source: USA Today

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie stressed his credentials as a social conservative on Friday, telling an influential audience of faith leaders and activists that his definition of being “pro-life” includes his outlook on issues beyond abortion.

“If you’re pro-life, as I am, you need to be pro-life for the whole life,” Christie told the Faith & Freedom Coalition gathered in Washington. “There needs to be a culture of life … From the womb to natural death, we need to be there even for those who stumble and fall.”

Since he was first elected in 2009, the New Jersey governor has been frequently in the spotlight for his handling of fiscal issues such as budgets and pension reform — rather than the social causes that drive many who belong to the Faith & Freedom Coalition, founded by longtime activist Ralph Reed.

In his remarks, Christie sought to link how his views against abortion are tied to his approach on treating non-violent drug addicts and launching more charter schools to help improve education.

These people don't give a flying fuck about human life, or any life for that matter. The only things they care about are fetuses and life that can be twisted to political advantage.

This is the gathering of the frat boys who have urinal cakes with President Obama's face on them. I would like to know who thought of this, ordered them and paid for them? Ralphie Reed? Rancid Pieface? This should be investigated.

He can now check off religion. He's almost there, and is so close to achieving that very last refuge. However, he needs to work on wrapping himself in the flag part a bit more and true scoundrelhood will be his forever more.

Regular voters, with ethics and intelligence, both moderate Republican and Democratic, are disgusted with his small-minded vindictiveness in the bridge-gate scandal, so it looks like he's appealing to that bagger segment that doesn't really care how honest, or corrupt they are as long as they are Bible thumping, anti-everything.
