Disney, CBS Queried by U.S. in Comcast Merger.

Walt Disney Co, Discovery Communications Inc and CBS Corp are being asked for information by U.S. antitrust officials probing Comcast Corp's proposed takeover of Time Warner Cable Inc, Bloomberg reported on Friday.
The U.S. Department of Justice has reached out to the companies as it investigates whether the cable-industry merger is anticompetitive, Bloomberg reported, citing three people familiar with the matter.

Concentrate on breaking them up as is, not on an expansion.
This merger is terrible for consumers.

(22,000 posts)The larger monopoly the cable system becomes, the harder it will be for other companies to stay in the market. Maybe CBS, Discovery, and Disney will provider convincing evidence to discourage the merger.

The larger Comcast (It's Crapcastic) becomes the more companies they are going to buy and it's just going to keep going. Soon yes, everything will be owned by Comcast (it's still Crapcastic).
