All four of the Republican candidates for the congressional seat representing Wisconsin's sixth district indicated on Thursday that they would likely support impeaching President Obama if elected, according to the Wisconsin Journal Sentinel.

During a GOP candidate forum in Ozaukee County, Wisc., the candidates agreed that they would support naming a special prosecutor to investigate certain scandals, such as the IRS scandal and collection of bulk data, as the first step in an impeachment process.

"He should be impeached for so many things," state Sen. Glenn Grothman (R) said at the forum.

"You begin to see the markings of a totalitarian state," he added about the pattern created by the administration's IRS and NSA scandals.

The current incumbent, Tom Petri has been in congress since the 70's.
He's retiring now, and we'll have to see who wins the GOP primary.

If Grothman is the winner, the democrats will have a ball using Grothman's own stupidity against him.

The other front-runner Leibham, unlike Grothman actually lives in this district, but he made a big stink about some "voter fraud" he claimed to have uncovered, turned out to be bullshit.

Since the Republicans are going to hold on to the House even if they lose seats, they will still move to impeach Obama at the start of the next Congress. I fully expect the House to repeatedly vote out Articles of Impeachment over and over again. Even though they know they will not have the 2/3 vote in the Senate to convict, that will not stop the assholes in the House. Their hatred of Obama knows no bounds.

the district is a gerrymandered nightmare sort of a giant H in the middle of the state.
Generally would be a safe seat but an open seat you never know and Harris has some name recognition.

The area is the land of the loony and i have no doubt that the teabaggys will turn out in the primary.

what i am curious about is if the teabaggers go heavy anti foreign worker. The area is very heavy resort with foreign workers--the waterparks are a veritable united nations.....North of there but also in the district are the cranberry bogs--again lots of foreign workers.
