Louie Gohmert suspects ‘undocumented Democrats’ are bringing Ebola across the border
By David Edwards
Thursday, August 14, 2014 13:22 EDT

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) warned this week that refugees — who he called “undocumented Democrats” — fleeing violence in Central America could be bringing diseases like Ebola into the United States.

“This administration doesn’t have the desire, doesn’t have the will to actually stop it,” Gohmert told radio host Tim Constantine on Wednesday. “Because they see people coming across as undocumented Democrats. And so, they want to keep the surge of people coming in illegally, even though it includes a big spike in Other-Than-Mexicans, OTMs as we call them.”

“It includes a spike in people from countries where terrorism abounds,” he continued. “We have people coming in from countries where Ebola is located.”

“And, gee, since they’re coming across our border, and you know, they don’t get checked, and most of them don’t get really thoroughly checked, they could be coming in with disease that we simply do not need.”

Stuff like this happens all the time. A friend who was head of a 40-member department at a private school told me a woman who worked under her with a Ph.D and h.s. teacher certification was so Gohmert-like, my friend suggested she teach 1st grade. Not that 1st gr. teachers are stupid but this woman was, and my friend thought maybe she could instruct on that level but no higher. The woman is now teaching 1st gr.

Perfect example is the ‘undocumented Democrats’ line.

Someone needs to sit these idiots down and explain slowly that it is NOT true that non-citizens can form a line and be handed a ballot.

This was a LIE invented to tell their idiot followers in suburbia to increase their already hyper-inflated outrage. The idea is to claim a falsehood is true and then to promise to be the hero to fix it if they vote for you.

LOOK!!! The sky is turning green!!! It's the fault of the Democrats!!! Vote for me and I will make sure it becomes blue again! Do it for your children and your grandchildren so they can see the same blue sky you have known all of your life. Do it for America!!!

The thing is, there are racists who consider it to be "voter fraud" for black people to vote and applaud Republicans for stopping them.

What gets me is when they claim Democrats are having whole busloads of people brought in from another state to vote in their election,...again,...as if all you have to do is show up and they'll hand you a ballot.

It's a belief taken as FACT on their side so much that a couple of them have been arrested for attempting to vote twice. They are probably in jail thinking "It's not FAIR. The Democrats get to do it all the time but us God fearing patriotic Republicans can't!"

next week he'll have something even more bizarre to state or add.

Thus, what we are witnessing is mental-health deterioration in action.

And to answer how anyone else can vote for him, again and again, Gohmert's mental health issue is related.

Technically, one person (though I'm sure it was a team effort) started this mess, and his name was Ronnie Raygun. The two issues that most attributed to our current mess was his defunding of mental health institutions and research, and the beginning of the defunding of public education.

We didn't have people like Gohmert in office before that happened, or if we did, the voting public was better educated and thus, less polarized, and didn't let them get re-elected.

Refunding mental health institutions and research is a no-brainer, so to speak, and as easily done as said. Fixing what we've got for public education is going to take much longer, mostly due to the corporate fingers so deeply rooted in it these days...

And then explain how the West Africans get over here. Do they swim? Dude, if these people could afford an airplane ticket to cross the Atlantic, do you think they would go to Mexico and then try to sneak across the border? No, they would come to the US as tourists and then jump their visa. So, what good does putting a bunch of armed vigilantes at the border do? Nothing. If the West Africans only have boats, the go north to Spain and Italy which are much closer.

I think you have to be terminally stupid to understand Republic logic.
