Perry open to sending US troops to Iraq

Source: AP

WASHINGTON (AP) — Texas Gov. Rick Perry signaled Thursday that he would be open to sending U.S. combat forces to Iraq to fight the deadly Islamic state after its attacks on a Christian minority and the beheading of an American journalist.

"We need to have all of our options open," Perry told a gathering at the conservative Heritage Foundation.

The potential 2016 presidential candidate also raised the prospect of members of the Islamic state crossing the U.S. -Mexico border, which he said is too porous because of inaction by President Barack Obama.

Perry arrived in Washington shrugging off a pair of indictments, saying he was "confident" in his defense.

Insurance exchange to help the citizens of Texas but he runneth at the mouth in yet another OOPS moment. Now he is attempting to ride in on W's coattail and W did a terrible run on his own.

Perry isn't president...he'll never be president. Why should we care what his view is on this matter?

He apparently reads neither history nor current events.

You can fix ignorance but you just can't fix stupid.

I had a Psychology Professor who used that as his highest insult. Personally I would not give him that much credit but something allows him to walk, talk, breathe, and yes even speak.
