FBI files link Christian TV’s Paul Crouch to Italian mob, Palestinian gun trafficking

According to files compiled by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the founder of the world’s largest Christian television network financed his endeavor with the assistance numerous international criminal organizations.

Documents obtained by MuckRock show that the FBI was investigating Trinity Broadcasting Network and its founder, Paul Crouch, for being in communication with the infamous Bronx mafia figure, Vincent Gigante, with regards to a “narcotics transfer of funds,” which is how the FBI classifies money-laundering.

In another document, Crouch is listed alongside Reverend Earl Paulk and Oral Roberts as “anti-Semitic white supremacists [who] were supposedly receiving funds from the [Palestinian Liberation Organization] to ‘run guns’” via an “Islamic Education Center” in Baltimore, Maryland. Both of these investigations were tagged as relating to “financial flow” involving narcotics.

Crouch and the Tustin, California-based Trinity Broadcasting Network he founded have come under fire in the past for “the prosperity gospel” that is preached on the network, which promises immediate material rewards to viewers who donate generously.

And this was on 24/7/365 every year, and people will watch whatever is put before them, I've learned. Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh, Jones as they are the only talkers in some regions, literally. People are like computers, processing information and it stays in their conscious and unconscious minds. The ones who get the chance to feed our minds are rewarded handsomely, beyond the dreams of the listeners consuming their words and imagery.

It is the downfall of humanity, and it's hard to escape without being educated to resist or having core values to look at it and examine it. Like ogling a car wreck on the freeway. We know better, but we can't resist.

When TBN began, cable was infected. CNN was still under Ted Turner for real news, before Ken Jautz ran it into the ground and turned it into tabloid trash. Cable was a smorgasbord and I'd surf the channels, particularly if I couldn't sleep.

A preacher worse than them and the Bakers, was a guy who cursed, smoked a cigar and pontificated, filled up hours of time with video of a horse he owned going around in circles inside an indoor arena. It was inane, and the crawl on the show was to send money for his 'ministry.'

I'd look for a while, to see when he'd get to the point, but there never was one. I was awestruck that this buffoon was on the air for hours, that he would have any influence. A clue of what was to come with the Teabaggers. Like seeing the onset of a dementia and trying to figure out how to cure it and save the person.

Robertson is still around with his faux prophecies and the wealth he made. These freaks got into the heads of millions who vote GOP as God's own party. I try to forget the names and faces to clear my mind. The American conscience has been replaced by hate chanting. Carl Sagan saw it coming and warned us.
