Mitt Romney: No 2016 presidential bid, but "circumstances can change"

Source: CBS News

Mitt Romney has repeatedly said he won't run for president in 2016 -- but "circumstances can change," he allowed in an interview on Monday.

"I had the chance of running," the former Massachusetts governor and 2012 Republican presidential nominee told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt. "I didn't win. Someone else has a better chance than I do. And that's what we believe, and that's why I'm not running.'"

"Circumstances can change," he added, "but I'm just not going to let my head go there."

Moments later, his head went there. "Well, you know, let's say all the guys that were running all came together and said, 'Hey, we've decided we can't do it, you must do it,'" Romney said. "That's the one of the million we're thinking about."

Circumstances change: all other would-be Bush 3's have been indicted and convicted.

He's an eminently defeat-able character, so that's good. But on the other hand, I don't know if I can handle another 2 year election cycle heap of his constant bullshit.

Even good comedy gets old after hearing the same jokes over and over for a while.

Too many people will still remember....4 years is not soon enough. Romney pissed off a lot of people when he made his 47% of this and that.. Ann Romney pissed off a lot of people with her..."those people" condescending attitude about things, and seeing that President Obama basically land slided and totally made Dick Morris, Paul Ryan, Carl Rove, Fox News, and the republican party the laughing stock of the political world, I doubt Romney would even make it through the primaries/\.

9. The biggest "circumstance" is Queen Ann. I don't think she wants to deal with "you people" yet

He was the only Republican with a chance of winning last time . . . and he lost.

If he were to run again, he'd still be a weak campaigner, he'd still be completely out of ideas, he'd still be traumatized by the psychopaths in his own party, he'd still be vulnerable to the truth about his benighted career as a vulture capitalist and the residence of his current fortune, and he'd still be walking around with a huge albatross labeled "Loser" stapled to his chest.

And he'd still be the only Republican with a chance to win.

This would mean that Dems could run just about anyone. Could even be bold and give Elizabeth Warren a try. Not to mention that Clinton (who everybody seems to think is already running) would wipe the floor with Mitt.
