I have AT & T as my phone provider -- is that why I have to have google or can I just dump it as my 2nd email address and keep Microsoft email only.

(6,228 posts)I use the finance page as much as the search engine itself and google's finance page looks like 3rd graders designed it. As for the search engine, Google and Yahoo yield identical results 99% of the time.

They " got along together" is the best way I can explain it.

Yahoo has certainly changed on my computer and not for the better.

(30,885 posts)I remember when they made their first major push into advertising. They used to love the ads that would take up half the screen. A Yahoo V.P. was interviewed and asked "Do you think these ads are too intrusive" and he replied "No, I don't think they are intrusive enough."

They have so many ADS even AFTER I hit the OP OUT button they still keep coming.
There is one there now that I can erase, no matter what I do.
It was sent by email and I can even put it in the "trash."

When Gmail came out I grabbed it. Really, that's the only one I use now. But yes, Yahoo sucks!
Soon, gmail will suck!

No quality and they take up so much of the view, I can hardly find my messages now!
When I use my Microsoft Outlook, all is peaceful and calm.
Bottom line Microsoft is Heaven and yahoo/google is Hell In My Computer.
