Supreme Court asked to block Wisconsin voter Iaw (Breaking)

Source: WISN12 (abc)NEWS

WASHINGTON —Opponents of Wisconsin's voter identification law are asking the Supreme Court to keep officials from enforcing it in the November election.

Legal papers were filed Thursday with the Supreme Court by the ACLU and the Advancement Project. The groups say there's not enough time to implement new ID requirements in the five weeks before the election.

A federal judge struck down the law last spring as unconstitutional. A three-judge ruling allowed the identification requirements to go forward.

This is a set up for massive voter fraud. As it was intended to accomplish in the first place. It is and was a way to fraudulently shut down the voting rights of certain blocks of voters.

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel today: "At trial, U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman in Milwaukee determined about 300,000 registered voters in Wisconsin do not have IDs that qualify for voting. About 70,000 are eligible to vote but not registered.

Attorneys opposed to the ID law said it would be impossible to issue credentials to all those voters between now and election day."

Ohio has already appealed to the SCOTUS. North Carolina is in the process and now Wisconsin. If the Texas court rules against the Texas voter id law, that case will be headed to the SCOTUS

on Saturday I took her to a MVA branch office, however, they don't do things like id cards--only things like registration & plates. So, she has to go to one of the big MVA during the week when I'm working and can't get away. She has to arrange a ride and do this. They open at 8:30 and close by 5. So people who work and need an ID have to take the time off of work to do it, too. They did this without expanding the hours of service so people can get their cards. Anything to make it tougher on folks.
