Arrest made in Penn State shooting threat

Police at Penn State say they arrested a 20-year-old student whom they suspect of making threats of a potential shooting through social media, targeting a busy area at the university.
University police have not yet released the suspect's name, but say a 20-year-old student living off campus was placed under arrest after admitting to posting the threatening message on the social media platform Yik Yak, which allows users to make anonymous comments that can only be seen by others within a 1.5-mile radius.
Police said they worked with Yik Yak officials to confirm the mobile device used to post the note and the location of the suspect, whose name will be released after he is arraigned Monday morning on one count of terroristic threats.
No weapons were found after police searched his home, police said.
