Looks like it's going to be a long night. @wolfblitzer got some redbulls from Costco; @AC360 chilling cucumber slices for eyebags. Nationally, 37% Dem, 34% GOP, 29% independent, per early exits. 31% dissatisfied, 27% angry, 30% satisfied with Obama per exits. Ideology: 36% conservative / 23% liberal / 40% moderate (was 42/20/38 in 2010) 35% say economy getting better, 31% say getting worse, 33% say staying the same. generic ballot tests are R/D head-to-head. Exit poll tests indies, which probably tilt Republican. That's why it's D+3.

Early wave 1 US Senate exit polls show possible GOP wins in KY, AR, CO, IA, KS, GA. Watch VA - closer than expected. GA Perdue +1, KY Mcconnell +4, NC EVEN. NH Brown +3, AR Cotton +13, CO Gardner +4, KS Roberts +2, IA Ernst +4, AK Sullivan +3, VA Gillespie -1, MI Land -16, MN McFadden -13

i didnt even know he was still on election night coverage. go nunn in GA and Hagan in N orth Carolina ! ...need to pull out some close late ones in the Midwest

since so many people vote early how accurate are exit polls?

5. remember these are wave 1 from early in the day, usually they tend to way oversample GOP

so those margins in the midwest are very workable to reverse, Roberts is still hanging by a thread at +2 same with Ernest/Gardner at +4. Nunn may have a serious shot of winning only being down 1. New Hamsphire, North Carolina, Virginia is all good news being close at this point in the early, early exits
