Teachers union millions failed to tip Senate

Source: Buffalo News

By Tom Precious

ALBANY – “Powerful” is the adjective most frequently used to describe the New York State United Teachers.

So when the 600,000-member teachers union went all in with a singular mission this fall – to help Democrats take full control of the state Senate – people here noticed.

But after spending at least $55,000 per day since the end of August trying to achieve its goal, NYSUT ended up not having a very good week.

Republicans not only took full control of the Senate, they did so by winning five of the six seats the teachers union targeted with millions of dollars in members’ donations.

FULL story at link.

Then there should be some kind of hell to pay AND a complete nationwide look at how lame the Dems were.

First I would say, we need candidates with a freak'n spine. Then we need (or needed) candidates that were going to take a stand on all the good that has happened with economic recovery, good that the President has actually done...and stop being so chicken shit to point out the terrorist tactics of the Pukes and Baggers.

Stop caving.

BTW...hi Steve!

Looking at the NBC exit poll for NY State

Would conclude that it is still the Economy that swung the election. Maybe there is another poll that shows voters concerned and voted over education issues. But the 48% most concerned about the economy stat imo is the reason given the data available.
