Teachers union millions failed to tip Senate

ALBANY Powerful is the adjective most frequently used to describe the New York State United Teachers.
So when the 600,000-member teachers union went all in with a singular mission this fall to help Democrats take full control of the state Senate people here noticed.
But after spending at least $55,000 per day since the end of August trying to achieve its goal, NYSUT ended up not having a very good week.
Republicans not only took full control of the Senate, they did so by winning five of the six seats the teachers union targeted with millions of dollars in members donations.

First I would say, we need candidates with a freak'n spine. Then we need (or needed) candidates that were going to take a stand on all the good that has happened with economic recovery, good that the President has actually done...and stop being so chicken shit to point out the terrorist tactics of the Pukes and Baggers.
Stop caving.

Would conclude that it is still the Economy that swung the election. Maybe there is another poll that shows voters concerned and voted over education issues. But the 48% most concerned about the economy stat imo is the reason given the data available.
