11 burned bodies found in southern Mexico

Source: AP-EXCITE

By MARK STEVENSON and JOSE ANTONIO RIVERA

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico's president announced a nationwide anti-crime plan on Thursday, the same day police found the partly burned bodies of 11 men dumped on the side of a road in the southern state of Guerrero.

President Enrique Pena Nieto proposed giving Congress the power to dissolve corrupt municipal governments and placing local police forces under the control of the country's 31 state governments. He also called for some form of national identity document.

The plan would also relax the complex divisions between which offenses are dealt with at federal, state and local levels. At present, some local police refuse to act to prevent federal crimes like drug trafficking.

The plan would focus first on four of Mexico's most troubled states, Guerrero, Michoacan, Jalisco and Tamaulipas, sending more federal police and other forces to those states.

as the palefaced colonialists make deals with crooked cops and narco gangs so they can stay in control.

The Federales are no bargain but they've got to be better than a mayor's wife who gets teaching students tortured and murdered because she doesn't want to be heckled during her speech.

She and her husband should never see the outside of a barbed wire enclosed space again.

burn you to death, and bury anything left over?

President Pena Nieto should spend some time preparing his resignation papers and stepping aside. He should never have been elected,
no matter HOW many times our own corporate media gibbered about how "telegenic" he was during his campaign. People should have known something was up when our own "news" people had so much to say about his (in their strange view) "handsomeness" and nothing of substance to say about his plans for Mexico.
