If this continues, I'll be stuck at work and unable to get home. But I'm not complaining

They're calling the protesters "savages" - and then calling defenders of the protest racist.

They're incredulous about the BlackLivesMatter hash tag saying that the protesters are holding placing black lives higher than other lives - and they're calling the protesters racist.

The twists of logic and the projecting of their own feelings on to others is astounding.

I hate conservatives and the conservative mindset more every day. It's becoming a personal problem for me.

Well at least they know how to protest, unlike the people in Ferguson blowing up cars and burning down buildings. Good job oakland, keep the protests peaceful.

I mean, obviously I support their cause, but couldn't they just fill Oscar Grant (Frank Ogawa) Plaza or something?

Protip: If you can get as far as 19th St., the NL bus goes from the Uptown Transit Center around the corner to SF.

edit: BTW, are you doing working on Thanksgiving Friday?!

And I agree that this isn't the most effective option. I could understand if this station were involved somehow, like when they stopped trains at Civic Center a few years ago.

I always work on this Friday. We're open for business, and I'm the only one on my team who doesn't have family in the area, so I volunteer for it.

It's been a grueling, exhausting day of watching the Star Wars trailer a thousand times while the phone doesn't ring all day

7. Deleted my post because...

... I thought it was a protest against consumerism on Black Friday.

Still, I believe this form of protest would cause more of an unsympathetic backlash than social reform. I caught hell here once for moving Hannity's book to the fiction section. I was told it was wrong to inconvenience the store employees, and I understood the point. Imagine how many innocent commuters were put out by this shut down. I don't get it.

The reason I was OK with this protest is for that reason: we know how to get around them here
