Navy Revokes Bill Cosby’s Honorary Title Amid Sex Assault Claims

The Navy has revoked Bill Cosbys honorary title in light of allegations he sexually assaulted a string of women over decades. I can see why the universities might get to revoke his honorary doctorates (he has about a dozen), but the Navy should wait until he's convicted of something.

(826 posts)I have no love for rapists or molesters having been a victim myself as a child but something stinks and I don't know what. Cosby may be guilty but he needs to have that decided by a jury before his life achievements are taken from him. To simply be accused is a form of attainder and is illegal in our original system of justice.
