Top IS (ISIS) Twitter propagandist arrested after investigation

Source: Channel 4 News UK

Indian police have arrested a man they named as Mehdi Masroor Biswas on suspicion of offences of cyber terrorism and crimes against the state.

Police also said that he confirmed that he is the man behind the @ShamiWitness account.

The account was shut down shortly after Channel 4 News uncovered key details of the person running the account including that it was being operated from Bangalore.

A Channel 4 News investigation this week revealed that the man operating the Shami Witness account was an executive in Bangalore working for an Indian conglomerate.

Well done Channel 4 News.

Maybe the NSA and CIA could learn something.

They are more interested in the bigger fish. Using this guy's contacts to find the people in ISIS that he's talking to.

under Indian law but he could be extradited to the UK where he will be convicted under inciting terrorism charges. However, the Indian police will interrogate him and find the ISI link and link to other Pakistan sponsored Indian Muslim terrorists. Then he can be convicted in India and serve the rest of his life under rigorous imprisonment.

mostly North Africans, and this guy is universally despised. Most of the people in the Muslim world just want to live their lives in peace.
