talk about such things? Booker is really a perfect example of something I see all over DU. People who communicate a great and even radical sounding passion around Ferguson who spend most of their time on DU advocating for moderate, centrist polices and an incremental, measured slow pace to any change. I really do not get it. If you have spent years advocating for slow paced changes and you are not an idiot, you'd have to know that 'slow' means 'more of the same' and that means more injustice. Those who wish to delay progress speak of being 'moderate' but what they are really saying is 'the injustice must continue for a while longer'. If a year ago you were barking that swift change was a bad idea and that incremental change is the only way forward, you must have known that meant more dead kids and people in jail for no good reason, more beatings, more families destroyed.
What happened to Cory for all that time between Rodney and Mike? Where has he been? Talking about Wall St and how slow all change must be....now that he's loaded.
