Teachers Alarmed That Trump’s Behavior Is Causing Increased Bullying In US Schools

“In all of my years as a teacher I have never had to think about how to undo the harm a candidate for president is doing,” Bock explained. Teachers are used to dealing with bullying, but it’s very hard to explain to kids that they shouldn’t be doing what an adult who is running for president is doing.

The Ohio Republican recounted one of her students saying, “If Donald Trump wins, I’ll be sent back to Peru.” The 14-year-old girl, a citizen, said her parents fear it will not be safe in the United States for them if Trump wins, so her family will want to move. Boch said this is not an isolated incident.

A hispanic teen/family support organization who are reporting that hispanic teens, even if born in the US, are experiencing high levels of stress over immigration threats. They are worried about parents and other extended family members getting deported if that goddam trump wins.

Obama had a little too aggressive deportation policy. I heard a 15 yr old girl say that every day when she's in school she is afraid that she will come home and find her parents have been detained. Thankfully, Obama has scaled back. What Trump would do is almost too terrifying to consider.

The thing that really gets me about the formerly Mexican families is their predecesors were not necessarily voluntary USAers.

For goodness sake, Donald Trump is the very
worst role model for our children. The worst.

I can remember being a kid and someone would imitate SNL characters or something and we would laugh about it all week. Now we have an obnoxious buffoon with zero respect for most of us running for president and a lot of kids are probably translating his distasteful moments into jokes every week.
It's bad enough that he's going to be on the national stage for at least another month. GOTV!!!!
