Noam Chomsky thinks the biggest news of November 8 was actually barely noted

The winning candidate, now the president-elect, calls for rapid increase in use of fossil fuels, including coal; dismantling of regulations; rejection of help to developing countries that are seeking to move to sustainable energy; and in general, racing to the cliff as fast as possible.

As though they were hurting something.

It's apparently a sign of studliness to oppose sustainability.

That's just from the first 2 pages of Google News's results for 'climate change', covering the last day or so.

As for the WMO report itself - well, it's just a summary of what we've seen week after week from NASA, the IPCC, and world scientists in general. It wasn't a shock.

Today the Times prominently featured an op-ed on coal, as well as several recent columns on climate change, on its editorial pages; the WaPo has had articles; I've heard the issue discussed on NPR and on PBS NewsHour. It's out there bigly.

accuracy. trump supporters did not note this and the media did not. Progressives/liberals did know this.
I am not going to put up with broad brushes the sweep liberals into the ignorant/hate crowd. There is a difference and everyone including left writers better respect that.
