Pence did not learn that Flynn misled him on Russia until last week

In a January television interview, Pence said that Flynn had told him the issue of sanctions did not come up in his conversations with the Russian ambassador.

The revelation adds a new layer to the confusion within the White House as it seeks to explain why it took more than two weeks for Flynn to resign his post, even though senior officials, including the president, were aware that he had not told Pence the truth.

That assumes that 45 didn't already know the truth, didn't already have the facts...going all the way back during the campaign.

I don't understand why all the talking heads try to explain this as though 45 had nothing to do with it, didn't know about it, was lied to about it, etc.... He knew about and/or directed the whole thing. Yet everyone keeps dancing around what's really happened.

Pence wasn't lied to or kept in the dark. He took one for the team to make it look legit that Flynn went rogue.

Why the hell would several people, all in the circle of 1 man, all working for him, have reason to speak with Russian intelligence officials DURING THE CAMPAIGN?
