A group of 18 Republican lawmakers signed their names on a letter formally nominating President Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace prize for his efforts toward peace in the Korean Peninsula.

Indiana congressman Luke Messer sent the letter to the Norwegian Nobel Committee on Tuesday.

Just as anyone can be nominated for a Pulitzer. We'll see what the Prize committee decides, but I wouldn't be surprised if they gave the thing to Mr Trump, who appears to want it.
