This is what the brouhaha is all about:
Clay Higgins: we're the Nazis, and we need a Wall to stop the D-Day invasion (seriously!)
'We have D-Day every month': GOP lawmaker compares immigration to famous WWII offensive
William Cummings, USA TODAY Published 3:11 p.m. ET March 6, 2019 | Updated 3:13 p.m. ET March 6, 2019
A Louisiana congressman on Thursday compared the arrival of migrants at the U.S. southern border to the number of U.S. troops who invaded Europe on D-Day in World War II.
Rep. Clay Higgins made the comparison during a House Homeland Security Committee hearing on immigration where Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen testified.
"Perhaps the most famous invasion in the history of the world D-Day 73,000 American troops landed in the D-Day invasion. We have 76,103, according to my numbers, apprehensions along our southern border last month," Higgins said. We have D-Day every month on our southern border, just to put this in context for America."
On June 6, 1944, known as D-Day, Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, France, to fight Nazi Germany. More than 9,000 Allied soldiers were killed or wounded, according to the U.S. Army.

especially if you don't vomit hearing Trump compare avoiding STD's in the 60s to serving in Vietnam.
