13. Mercury as a preservative was the culprit

In the 1990's my two grandson's were afflicted with varying degrees of autism related to the Mercury in vaccines. I was a Public Health Nurse at the time and made home visits to families with children with autism they blamed on vaccines. We in the medical profession did not believe the parents but now I am not so sure. Mercury is no longer used in vaccines.

The kind of mercury once used in vaccines is ethyl mercury, which the body clears out of the system very quickly, thereby posing no risk for brain damage. The kind of mercury which most often causes brain damage is methyl mercury, which is used in heavy industry, but which has never been used in vaccines.
