Trump attacks Biden's cognitive health in possible general-election preview

President says ‘there’s something going on’ with Democratic candidate in first public event since Super Tuesday

Donald Trump attacked Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities on Thursday night during an event in the former-vice president’s hometown that could set the tone for an ugly general election.

Appearing at a Fox News town hall in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Trump – who has faced repeated scrutiny over his own mental acuity – said there was “something going on” with Biden, in what may prove a rehearsal for Republican attacks during the presidential election.

Thursday marked Trump’s first public event since Biden’s surprisingly strong performance on Super Tuesday, when he won 10 out of 14 states available to propel him into the lead in the Democratic primary. Trump said he had been “all set” to face Biden’s rival Bernie Sanders, whom he called a “communist”, until the recent vote.

“Then we have this crazy thing that happened on Tuesday, which [Biden] thought was Thursday, but he also said 150 million people were killed with guns and that he was running for the United States Senate. There’s something going on there,” Trump said.

Maybe Joe seems a bit 'off' sometimes because he's suffering from wind-turbine cancer, or was wounded in the Bowling Green Massacre.

Perhaps Joe picked up the coronavirus on his last trip to Narnia, Button or Nipple. That would also explain his not knowing about that great day in American history when the patriots foiled the Brits by shutting down the airports in 1775.

Maybe Joe is questioning his own sanity because he's actually seen stealth bombers on a runway, plain as day, when everyone knows they're invisible to the naked eye.

Or maybe he just smocks too much.

Turd will rue the day he attacked somebody else's cognitive abilities.

I don't believe that it is a good idea to provide additional publicity for what Trump says though.

I’m not a film editor but it seems that it would be pretty easy to create a video montage of Trump’s rambling incoherencies...that would fire this accusation back at Trump.

Please, will someone knock this hanging softball out of the park????

We have tons of tape showing demented donald who can't say oranges despite trying 5 times, who thinks the moon is part of mars, who has been caught several times going up stairs with toilet paper trailing from his foot, who has been photographed not knowing how to get into a car and wondering around the tarmac lost - oh, please go with this! Bloomberg will kill him and personally humiliate him if he goes with either Hunter Biden (his kids are soooooo much worse) or with this loss of cognition because drumpf is 100% vulnerable on both of those issues.
