Contact the aclu if you are in this situation.
Sure, if your lease is expiring, a landlord can choose not to renew it, but if they are canceling leases. that is wrong.

I'm an RN myself. . . I'm not sure how I'd react to that. I might be tempted to spit on the landlord and then breath in his face to be 100% honest.
