Donald Trump Hired Barack Obama Stand-In Who He ‘Ritualistically Belitted’, Michael Cohen Book Claims

Donald Trump hired a Barack Obama stand-in who he “ritualistically belittled” and “fired,” according to explosive allegations in Disloyal: A Memoir — the new tell-all book by the president’s former attorney Michael Cohen — CNN reported.

As the publication noted, during President Obama’s time in the White House, Trump publicly promoted the “birther” conspiracy which surrounded the former president, and criticized many of his decisions. However, the memoir, which is due for release on Tuesday September 8, alleged that the president’s disdain for his predecessor went much further than his public remarks.

In his memoir, Cohen claimed that Trump hired a “Faux-Bama” to participate in a video in which he “ritualistically belittled the first black president and then fired him,” according to the news source, which obtained a copy of the book ahead of its publication.

The book did not name the man who was allegedly hired to play Obama, the outlet noted, or give a date at which the alleged incident took place. However, it did include a photograph of the president sat behind a desk, while a black man wearing a suit that featured an American flag pin sat opposite. On the desk were two books, one of which was emblazoned with Obama’s name.

3. this is missing some context

I was outraged when i read this same excerpt last night, but once you get the full context, it is somewhat less shocking. It was a mockery/comedy attempt(?) video created for the 2012 RNC. Still jerky, but not like this excerpt sounds as if it was some kind of personal habitual weird behavior.
there are many posts on here from last night that explain and show the video. still crappy, but not at the level this excerpt evokes. IMO

4. I read the story behind this

Which I agree, does take some of the edge off. But whether it was supposed to be for a convention or not, the concept behind it can only have been Trumps.
There is absolutely no way that any of his advisors/handlers would have approved of this. It’s screening would have caused outrage.
The significance of this, is that even in those early days of his presidency, those around him were fully aware that he was an obsessive moron and were pandering to him, like the baby he is. All these people coming forward with revelations now - and there will be many in the future - aided and abetted in this ludicrous situation.
The generals speaking out now are not brave heroes, they have just come to the conclusion that now is a safer time to try and distance themselves. They said nothing at the time, which is cowardice.
