but, to paraphrase Arlo Guthrie...

if one person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick...
And can you, can you imagine {if} fifty people a day {do it}...they may think it's a movement.


I also recall an article I read a few years ago which described a group of friends in L.A. Or S.F. who decided not to purchase anything new for a year (except food and underwear - lol). I thought the idea sounded like fun; naturally, they were chided by RWers as being un-American.
