'Stop the Steal' campaign has long ties to Roger Stone
Presidents then-adviser launched a site with that name in 2016

It is an internet battle cry: Stop the Steal has swept across inboxes, Facebook pages and Twitter like an out-of-control virus, spreading misinformation and violent rhetoric and spilling into real life, like the protest planned for DC this weekend.
But while Stop the Steal may sound like a new 2020 political slogan to many, it did not emerge organically over widespread concerns about voting fraud in President Donald Trumps race against Joe Biden. It has been in the works for years.
Its origin traces to Roger Stone, a veteran Republican operative and self-described dirty trickster whose 40-month prison sentence for seven felonies was cut short by Trumps commutation in July.
Stones political action committee launched a Stop the Steal website in 2016 to fundraise ahead of that election, asking for $10,000 donations by saying, If this election is close, THEY WILL STEAL IT.

OP
"Stop the Steal" is literally a Roger Stone PAC/business, not a grass roots movement

Hadn't considered it, but it surely looks that way. He has his brand, for sure, evil as it is.

Roger Stone made his bones rigging the 1972 election..
The Committee for the Re-election of the President (also known as the Committee to Re-elect the President), abbreviated CRP, but often mocked by the acronym CREEP,[1] was, officially, a fundraising organization of United States President Richard Nixon's 1972 re-election campaign.

MARCH 8, 2017 DOCUMENT:
In addition to his Super PAC, Stone also formed Stop The Steal, a tax-exempt organization that, due to Internal Revenue Service rules, could raise and spend unlimited amounts, but was barred from supporting (or opposing) a specific candidate. Stop The Steal, Stone explained, was initially formed to help safeguard against Republican Party insiders denying Trump the partys nomination. The group subsequently alleged that the Clinton campaign was plotting to steal the general election--a warning echoed by Trump and Jones--and claimed to be arranging for independent exit polls to be conducted on November 8.
Stop The Steal, IRS records show, raised about $40,000. While the group has not been disbanded, visitors to stopthesteal.org are redirected to Stones personal web site.
For an organization purportedly dedicated to preserving the sanctity of the voting process, Stones group made a series of odd expenditures in December:
