James Comey: Donald Trump should not be prosecuted after leaving office

Donald Trump should not be prosecuted once he leaves the White House no matter how much evidence has been amassed against him, the former FBI director James Comey writes in a new book.

The next US attorney general, under Joe Biden, should not “pursue a criminal investigation of Donald Trump”, Comey writes, “no matter how compelling the roadmap left” by the special counsel Robert Mueller, or “how powerful the evidence strewn across his history of porn stars and financial fraud”.

“Although those cases might be righteous in a vacuum,” Comey writes, “the mission of the next attorney general must be fostering the trust of the American people.”

Because we did so well after Ford pardoned Nixon and Barr and Bush pardoned the Iran-Contra crowd?

The damage Trump did to the federal system must be addressed by the federal system to give the federal system legitimacy. Leaving it to the states is a cop-out.

Hamilton is debating Jefferson and after Jefferson states his position Hamilton says,

I will never forget Comey's announcement about re-opening the investigation against Hillary Clinton right before the election. He's done his damage. His opinions now are not needed or wanted and neither is his book.
Now that we are regaining our footing as a party, his thoughts are neither welcome nor well thought of. May he find his place in obscurity along with others whose egos couldn't resist the lure of 15 minutes of fame.

The PROBLEM is that tRump LOVES playing the VICTIM and will turn prosecution into persecution and bring out crocodile tears.

BUT we need to UNSEAL all the secret damage and get it on record that he was THE WORST pResident in history of US.

Donald Trump is an active Russian asset/agent who has worked to bring down America,
all the while killing 350,000 Americans and >1.9 million people world wide, grifting the
be-jesus out of the country, and spreading hate, racism, and violence across the country.
