Russia to head U.N. Security Council in April?
The Danger of Russia Becoming President of the U.N. Security CouncilCan you imagine such blood thirsty despots as: Adolf Hitler; Saddam Hussein; or Pol Pot presiding over the U.N. Security Council, charged with preserving global peace and harmony?
It may read like one, but this is no April Fool’s prank—next month, Russia—and by extension, Vladimir Putin—will assume the Presidency of the U.N. Security Council.
Known burglars are not given banks to run, nor are convicted sex offenders given charge of daycare centers. In the same vein, Putin should not be allowed to make a mockery of international diplomacy by becoming the face of global peace as he escalates his unjust invasion of Ukraine with new attacks daily.
The potential damage of a gavel-wielding Putin is hard to overstate. Even beyond its symbolic value; the Presidency of the U.N. Security Council carries very real institutional power within the U.N., chairing all discussions, applying the rules, controlling the docket, schedule, and credentialing for all debates, and managing all draft resolutions. And Russia has proven adept in the past at abusing the vast procedural power of the Security Council Presidency.

Ukraine has more than earned their place & paid dearly, in blood & stolen kids!
And then-Republican President Reagan was not popular there because of his tough stance on Russia - which caused the Russian hardliners to push back on the progressive policies instituted by Gorbachev. What happened to all those "Reagan Republicans?" and his famous words: "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" 
How gullible do these MAGAts have to be to do a 180 and align themselves with a autocratic fascist enterprise??

TFG is facing indictment and arrest by the Manhattan District Attorney's office while the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant against Putin. And both are impervious to learning anything from their looming retribution.
