A Florida charter school principal said she was forced to resign this week after some parents complained about their sixth-grade students being shown images of Michelangelo’s “David” statue in class, with one parent believing the art lesson on the Renaissance masterpiece amounted to pornographic material.

When I was in college in the 70's, guys displayed Playboy centerfolds on their walls.

I countered with a large photo of David, and freaked out everyone. You could see the cleaners
sneaking in to see if the hullabaloo was genuine.

... While the article discloses that this is a charter school, it does not state plainly that charter schools are subsidized by the state. And since state schools are subsidized by the federal government, some portion of this BS is being paid for by you and me, regardless of which state we reside in.
