The Republican Trump MAGA Desantis Anti-Woke Agenda is a flop

It gets a lot of media attention, and that's really been the whole point of just about everything Ron Desantis, and Donald Trump, have done over these past few months. Trump declared he would be arrested on Tuesday, and anyone who knows his record of accuracy for making such predictions knows that had no chance of happening. But it got him several days of feverish news coverage and kept the GOP race for the party nomination in the news cycle. It covers up the good stuff that the Biden Administration is doing.

I have not heard one thing, in the whole time that the media has been focusing on the Republican 2024 nomination, that is an actual plan for the benefit of the American people, or that anything they are doing will help, or will demonstrate leadership and governing ability. Nothing. Zero. Nada. It's all about trying to use the government to force a particular worldview on the country. The Republicans are proposing an oppressive, ideological tyranny.

And there are more than enough Americans willing to set aside partisan loyalty and see how dangerous this is to their freedom. More than enough, if we all use our minds and get our bodies to the polling places.

1. The opinion writer is correct. Trump ain't winning and neither is DeSantis.

Trump is obviously a running with a record that leads nowhere. But who wants to live in DeSantis's vision for this country? He's DOA as well. Who's next GOP? Pence? DeWine? Hogan (sorry, he canceled himself)? MTG? Jordan? Gaetz? Whoever runs in 2024 is going to lead this "Party" to the end of the road.

As long as they speak without drooling or spitting on people, the media will say how formidable they are.

As for Biden and any Democrat. . .they could say "the sky is really blue today" and the media will fall over itself trying to create a scandal and print for it: "Skygate: Biden said blue skies. Is he discounting Red states with that? Here to discuss is our panel of three froth at the mouth MAGATs, a liberal that claims its both sides but ultimately blames Democrats for everything, and a tepid centrist who says we need to stop the bickering and work together while offering no push back on the other four."

Pushing forward in his speeches, repeating policy victories. The Canadian speech is a good example of forward thinking policy that will benefit workers.
