Jennifer Granholm via Current TV: "Is Ann Coulter really Madame Voldemort?"
Is Ann Coulter really Madame Voldemort?
Forget about going to the London Olympics for heros. This weekend we saw real heroes and real scoundrels right here in America. The NASA scientists and Officer Murphy represent the best of America, says Jennifer Granholm. Ann Coulter who Granholm would only refer to as Madame Voldemort may be among the worst, especially when she suggests cutting the jobs of those who work in the public sector.
Really? Granholm asks. Those who devote their lives to serving our country, children and neighborhoods are giving back. They have answered the call to serve. Public service used to be the highest of callings, until people like Madame Voldemort vilified it. We need to be celebrating those who serve us rather than mocking them for the purpose of getting on TV and selling some books.

(60,014 posts)1. I think Coulter is best ignored. equated with the relevance of an amboeba
(with no disrespect to all of the fine amoebae of the world).
To me, her opinion is utterly devoid of value.

(19,473 posts)6. Nope. She wasn't born in the US
Born in Canada, came here as a toddler. The Constitution would have to be amended to get rid of that absurd requirement.

(17,301 posts)3. Ann Coulter is still alive?
I avoid all things tea bagger and since I have not seen DU complaining about this stupid, nasty, fool recently I assumed she was dead.
I guess she didn't die - or she's a zombie.

(1,831 posts)4. The thought tickles me...
But Coulter is nowhere near as sophisticated, as cunning, and as near human as Lord Voldermort
