Florida Ex-GOP Chair: Voter suppression strategies go beyond voter ID laws

http://www.opednews.com/Quicklink/Florida-Ex-GOP-Chair-Vote-in-General_News-120810-603.html

Al Sharpton's PoliticsNation featured stunning public confirmations regarding the Florida Republican Party and its new voter ID laws push. Former GOP party Chairman Jim Greer (in sworn testimony) confirmed that party strategists met on voter registration strategies with the intent to suppress Blacks and Latinos from voting in Florida. The former Florida GOP Chairman said -- live on air that, 'There's no doubt that what the Republican led legislature in Florida and Governor Scott are trying to do is make sure the Republican party has an advantage in this upcoming election by reducing early voting and putting roadblocks up for potential voters, Latinos, African Americans to register and then to exercise their right to vote. There's no doubt. I was in the room. It's part of the strategy.' [DoJ and Holder must act NOW, not after NOV.]

but right now they are too busy aggressively criminalizing medical
marijuana operations in states that have adopted such laws to provide
for safe legal use for medicinal purposes.

So busy in fact that Blackwater and Goldman Sachs blatently criminal
behavior must also be ignored, i.e. they are merely "fined" a few
million dollars.

I wish Obama would fire Holder and replace him with Eliot Spitzer.
