Most of these preppers and gun nut baggers have either fully indoctrinated or intimidated their wives into following along or their wives are just as nutty as they are. Most of these cowards wouldn't let "their woman" talk to them this way as they would take it as an assault on their manhood and ingrained belief system honed on Rush, Beck, and FAUX News.
