11. My daughter has a degree in journalism, but has ended up using it in advertising

and editing a small, local magazine. I had several students in high school who wanted to go into "broadcast journalism. I guess there is now "print journalism," (my daughter's pursuit), and "broadcast journalism." We hear print is dying out, but the few real "broadcast journalists" these days (Maddow and "analysts" Stewart and Colbert, certainly didn't train as journalists. Interesting.

Hannity was brought down from his perch by a guest who had the temerity to tell the right-wing ass what a shill he is. His ratings have been falling off recently as well. This is why these blowhards are so pathetic. They can't take any real criticism from someone who will stand up to them. When fellow blowhard Rush Limbaugh had his short-lived TV show he was brought down by a Black woman who wiped the floor with him. It was a delight to see. I doubt if Rush will ever have a TV show again where he can't control the proceedings like on his radio show. However, someone occasionally slips through and makes him look like the egotistical jerk that he is.
