Papantonio: Drug Companies Push Expensive, Less Effective Drugs on Consumers

Last edited Tue Mar 5, 2013, 07:57 PM - Edit history (1)

When you head to the doctor, you probably assume that whatever medication they give you is the best thing available for your ailment. But that’s not always the case, and pharmaceutical companies have been working to convince doctors to prescribe new, more dangerous, and less effective drugs to patients that carry enormous risks. One of the most recent cases is with the drug Pradaxa, and Mike Papantonio spoke with attorney Seth Katz recently about the dangers of this new blockbuster drug.
