... this is about as "real" as the "spontaneous" tearing down of Saddam's statue.

Does anyone think about miking and camera placement for these "real" situations? (I count at least six separate camera setups and yet no cameras are visible in the long shots.)
How about release forms?

Although I appreciate the "feel good" sentiment of such clips, our acceptance of them as "reality" says something rather alarming about our critical thinking skills.

Bah humbug.

Then why can't you just leave it at that. Why do you feel compelled to be a "wet blanket"?

I doubt too many people accept these situations as real. However, the next time I post a "feel good" clip that makes a comment upon our commonality as people I will be sure to add that it is "not real" and ruin it for everybody else so that you will not feel compelled to post about our critical thinking skills.

I am surprised you didn't tell us all how you checked this out on snopes to save us from ourselves.

I mean, get off your high horse fer crisesakes? (notice I didn't say "Christ's" sake, because that would bring in another group of self righteous - pardon the pun - "wet blankets" to rant on their own perceived reality)

Oh, and my contrived irritation and crankiness - that is not real either.
