If Walker is forced to resign as governor before any recall election, the issue of recalling him is moot. Then Rebecca Kleefisch becomes governor. What happens to the move to recall her? She is being recalled from the office of Lt. Governor, but she is no longer Lt. Governor.

Kleefisch would be Governor & would need to be independently recalled, which I think will not happen unless she does something as egregious as the things the Walker crew did.

Recalls of 4 R Senators would proceed. With any luck, we'll have control of the Senate--we need only one win--and with a little more luck we'll get the Assembly back in January after the November elections.

I think if the Lt. Governor moves into the Governor's office, she will still be on the ballot for the recall election - IMHO.

Walker's alleged crimes in this matter stem from his time as county commissioner in Milwaukee, not as governor. Kleefisch, before she became Lt. Governor, was a newscaster.

I haven't been in Wisconsin since I was five years old (that was during the Civil War), and then just passing through. That's why I'm asking Wisconsinites.
