I've known two ladies who said that they had been raped; I'm sure quite a few more of my friends have been raped and just didn't want to talk about it. I think this candor will give her a lot of traction with women voters.

.... is if she prosecuted and held the SOBs responsible for their actions. If she did, THAT is why she's not afraid of Mitch McConnell or KKKarl Rover', or any other loud-mouth hating misogynist woman-hating Republican or Democrat, in or out of the state of Kentucky. That, and/or the combination of her experience as an activist against the sex-trafficking of girls and young women.

Look it...Ashley has nothing to loose. She loves Kentucky & Kentucky loves her. She's educated and has traveled the world. If she wants to run, she can. She will get support from all over this country and the world. She no doubt has thought hard and long about this move into politics and believe you me, if she didn't think she could do the job or be good enough to fill the shoes of a Senator, she would not even be contemplating it. There has never been better candidate to run against Mitch. Never.

And if she looses after she gave her all and took all the naysayers on, then she can go right back to her acting career. No harm, no foul.
