I didn't know about JFK's bill to ban the import of military weapons. This is the first I heard about the current committee vote. I sort of feel sick to my stomach now.

I have changed my mind. I was expecting the police to keep weapons off the black market and out of the hand of criminals without giving the police any tools do what I was angry they weren't doing. Not keen on the cops but I am a lot less keen on any more Auroras or Adam Lanzas. People put up enough stuff on their own Facebook pages or YouTube to eliminate a lot of nut bags. I do not care what bag someone is in but when they make threats or wave guns on their web videos, they need a little concerned attention by the authorities. \

Oh and by the way, screw the NRA, they sure as hell do not speak for this pro-gun DU'er.
