I knew they had a reason, but I didn't know that they had insight into this sort of thing. I thought they were just being cheap by keeping some paid less, but now I figure they are just afraid that we will start throwing things at them.

Thanks for posting this. I'm sharing. Maybe even with my boss. (Maybe not.)

that says it is illegal for employers to keep employees from discussing how much they make, and they cannot fire you for it. I wasn't sure that I believed it, so I did further research, and it is true.....not that the employer will let you know this. (I was so interested because I work at a place that you describe.)

They act like the Secret Police in a dictatorship and snitch over the least little thing to score points.

The boss there hired his son fresh out of high school to be the supervisor of guys who had been there twenty years.

At one point his dad told him he needed to write up a set of guidelines for the employees.

The kid goes up to these old timers and asks, "How do you spell "sposto"? (As in supposed to)

They said, "S-P-O-,..."

They all got a kick out of the final memo.

The audience got the message.

It has become part of popular culture and is completely accepted that Wall Street is the problem.

Now all it will take is for Washington Politicians to jump in front of the parade and pretend they are leading it.

The first time we saw an injustice against us, we would throw something. But no, we aren't that smart.....we just eat the freaking cucumber, and we like it.

EVERYTHING tastes better as long as you have a smart phone and unlimited text messaging...

You want to see REAL protests?
Try taking away a phone from a teenage girl these days.
I would sooner try to snatch prey from the mouths of Bengal Tigers!

All we really need to do is figure out a way to convince the banksters that they are missing out on the REAL easy money in teenage girl's phones...then when they try to seize the phones, the teenage girls will do to them what everyone else should have done for the last 5 years...

With all due respect to Tarantino, I'm thinking they'd go Medieval on that ass!

I know how it was when I was young, and I was always ready to stand for myself and the world against all the injustice. Then I got a job, and a home, and all the responsibilities that go with adult life.....and I became afraid to rock the boat. I am not as afraid as most people I know, and I still get myself into situations that I could have avoided by keeping my mouth shut and my head down. But I don't have the nerve that a teen girl would have if the smart phone was taken away. The older I get, the less I find worth losing everything over.
