1. excellent summary of the issues and motivations behind so called ed "reform"- follow the money...

profit motive for microsoft amazon etc.. driving this.. not altruism for kids.. strategy, make teachers and schools look bad, propose reform and charter schools who have less restrictive rules on technology purchases, then sell them the technology.. simple business strategy, not focussed on better outcomes, but better profits for private corporations. no wonder gates is involved in this..
