(4 posts)1. Homophobes are just using this "procreation" thing as an excuse
...because it's no longer acceptable to just say "yeah, i disapprove of being gay." So they have to come up with all these convoluted arguments to cover for the fact that, at the end of the day, they're just bigots.
Justice Elena Kagan had a brilliant line about this where she quoted from the legislative reason given for DOMA at the time: basically "we find being gay to be morally wrong."

My late husband and I knew we didn't want to have kids when we got married. I guess since we never intended to procreate, our 36 years together were invalid.
